Registered Nurse Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) PRN/ Per Diem Summary: IMCU The nurse on IMCU will care for those patients who require a higher intensity of care than medical surgical patients but less than ICU. The typical patient needs cardiac monitoring and administration of cardiac drugs for adult patients. These patients generally have diagnoses of chest pain, angina, cardiac arrhythmias or other medical or postoperative care that requires continuous cardiac monitoring. Must have ACLS and dysrythmia mastery.
