Founded in 1974, Orange Park Medical Center has grown from a small community hospital to a top healthcare provider in northeast Florida. We are a full-service, acute-care hospital with 317 inpatient beds located in the heart of Orange Park, providing medical care to Clay County and surrounding communities. The hospital has 170 private rooms. There are nine labor, delivery and recovery room suites for new mothers and a seven-bed, Level-2 neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) for premature babies and those born with special needs. There is also a 24-bed psychiatric unit, 20-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit and 20 intensive care (ICU) beds. We are seeking a new Clinical Director for our 18 bed, 30 FTE, Med/Surg/Oncology unit, responsible for planning, organizing, staffing and directing functions to ensure the effective operation of the Department. The new Director will function in cooperation with the leadership team in developing plans, policies and procedures to efficiently meet the objective of providing quality care at Orange Park Medical Center. The Department Director assumes the role as a leader in planning, directing and managing the department and staff to assure quality service on a twenty-four (24) hour basis while also working to ensure that all Budgetary, Process Improvement, Core Measures and Patient Satisfaction initiatives are achieved. The Department Director is responsible for meeting Joint Commission standards, complying with all state and federal regulations, complying with corporate policy and procedures, managing supplies and equipment, promoting teamwork with physicians and all health care providers, promoting internal and external customer satisfaction, and for appropriate resource management. #LI-SAD
