JOB SUMMARY SRG Goals Takes a lead role in setting and achieving specific SRG goals annually (under the direction of the VP, SRG and in conjunction with the other members of the SRG) and contributing to the achievement of Department and Company annual goals. General Serves as Customer Lead to select business area programs, primarily Marketing, Communications & CRM, to identify issues and risks, to collect information for enterprise decision-making, and to provide value-added services to the business areas. Ensures that program information necessary for enterprise decision-making for senior HCA management is available. Executive Management Facilitation Takes a lead role in the preparation of presentation materials for executive management, business area leaders, committees and facility leader gatherings. SRG Initiatives Takes a lead and support roles on select SRG initiatives ensuring that SRG services are effectively and successfully implemented. Participates in the roll-out of strategic initiates (e.g., consumer focused analytical methodologies) throughout HCA. Change Agent Participates, in conjunction with the VP, SRG and AVPs, SRG, in the efforts of the key change agents for enterprise-wide initiatives. Customer Relationships Responsible for building strong relationships with SRG customers in the business areas, primarily Marketing, Communications & CRM, and for delivering products and services to meet their needs. Investigates and understands SRG customer needs and develops creative approaches to meeting those needs. Develops SRG support plans for customers and monitors their effectiveness. Managing Risks Supports the facilitation of the program/project risk management process ensuring proper management of risks and their impact on of business initiatives on the company. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Core Functions Program Participation Serves as a consultant and Customer Lead for business areas, departments and programs. Consulting Participates in the implementation of the SRG's consulting support strategy and leads specific consulting efforts of moderate complexity, including Rapid Design Sessions and Meeting Facilitation. Specifically plays a key role in the analysis, facilitation and planning required for the Service Line Planning rollout Projects (examples) General analysis and assessment of impact for Marketing and Communication initiatives Conduct Service Line queries to provide information for client strategies Reputation Management and Patient Satisfaction Trends Analysis Budget and PHM Data Queries ER Stat Tool Training Ad-hoc Campaign Analysis Business Case Development Supports development of business case processes, standards, and templates including providing relevant analysis and insights to support the creation of a business case Basic Achieving Project Goals Achieving project goals for initiatives, as assigned. Continuous Improvement Organizing and managing activities associated with continuous improvement in the SRG. Supports specific critical continuous improvement efforts. Managing Multiple Tasks/Responsibilities Managing and achieving a multitude of objectives simultaneously in an effective manner. Training Skills Exhibiting good training skills for promoting adoption of Project Management and other SRG initiatives across the organization. Updating Knowledge Keeping current in leading service line and enterprise program management strategies and practices. Supporting SRG knowledge management practices to develop, document, inventory, and dissmeniate best practices within the SRG and other HCA departments. Working Independently Working independently and in conjunction with other individual and departments in situations of moderate to high complexity to achieve Company goals. Perspective Has broad-ranging business perspective and strategic, long-term view of enterprise strategy. Analytical Skills & Decision Making Skilled at researching moderately complex issues and providing alternatives, benefits, and risks. Growing SRG Resources Coaches some SRG resources on specific competencies. Working with SRG Customers Working with all levels of management of the company. Coordination across Customers Ensuring that all necessary work activities are coordinated with other members of the SRG, with customers, and other HCA departments to ensure integration across the various initiatives.
