We offer the latest in technological advances and we are committed to providing every patient with the highest Surgery Patient Transporter Responsibilities: Under general direction of the Manager, Director, RN's or Lead Techs the patient transporter will: Provide care and transportation to patients for surgery Includes communication with nursing and patient technician staff on floor Handoff communication with technologists regarding patient and any special needs/concerns Clean equipment Assist with maintaining a clean environment in the OR and in surgery Have strong personal skills including verbal communication Use AIDET communication at all times May be required to perform clerical tasks including answering phone and possibly assisting at the front desk. Provide care for birth to pediatric, pediatric/child patients between 1 to 11 years of age; adolescent patients between 12 to 17 years of age; adult patients between 18 to 64 years; and geriatric patients 65 years and older.
