JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for the overall management of FTEs, Consultants and Vendor Management as it relates to System Administration within the Horizon Patient Folder application. Lead and direct the design, development, configuration, customization and support of software related to Horizon Patient Folder. Responsible for the coordination and direction of cross-functional teams of developers, technicians, analysts, and business process experts on strategic programs, projects, and activities. Helps determine the future technology direction of systems. Leads in the relationship with vendors and business owners. Single point of contact and accountability for all technical activities associated with the Horizon Patient Folder (HPF) system. In addition, responsible for integrations points between HPF and other systems. This role requires strong understanding of team management and customer relationships. The individual in this role will be the highly-visible go-to point of contact for IT&S staff at facilities, divisions, Vendors as well as HCA Shared Services, for questions, problem solving, and advice. The individual will also be responsible to IT&S leadership at corporate for status reporting, updates on key issues, and driving successful deployment technology. The person, in addition to day-to-day operations with staff, will work directly with Senior leadership through-out HCA. This includes, but not limited to: • COO's, CIO's, CFO's • VP's • AVP's • Director's RESPONSIBILITIES % of Time and Description of Responsibility 50% - Project Management / Operational Management 30% - Technical problem solving and solution development 20% - Staff & Leadership Development DECISIONS Staff management to include coaching, performance appraisals, reviews...etc Directly interacts with customers at the executive level; Problem solving and solution provider
