The hospital is a member of the respected Sunrise Health System consisting of Sunrise Hospital, Sunrise Children's Hospital, Southern Hills Hospital and several surgery and diagnostic imaging centers offering a complete range of specialized and technologically advanced services POSITION SUMMARY: The Medical Technologist is responsible for the performance of automated, semi-automated and/or manual procedures in the analysis of specimens for the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Under supervision performs various chemical, microscopic and bacteriologic tests for which he/she has been trained. Demonstrates understanding of normal ranges due to sex and/or age ranges from neonatal through geriatric.The Medical Technician must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patients served in his/her department.
