Standard Qualifications: St. Mark's Hospital is looking for a hard working individual to join their Diagnostic Imaging Team on a PRN basis! St. Mark's Hospital provides a full array of services to the surrounding community, including the following service lines: cardiac, NICU, orthopedics, behavioral health, skilled nursing, acute rehab, as well as many others. St. Mark's is the oldest running hospital in Utah with rich traditions and a reputation for excellent patient care and quality outcomes. The Imaging (Radiology) Technologist performs professional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, with latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative. The Technician is responsible for patient care, comfort and completion of required procedures. Is also responsible for the assessment, treatment or care appropriate to the ages of the patients served: i.e. Infant, Toddler, Child, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric. The Technician will demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient's needs; possesses knowledge of growth and development; and has an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups.
