Job Description: Reporting to the CNO, the Director assumes the role as a leader in planning, directing and managing a busy 25-bed unit primarily housing post-surgical orthopedic patients along with an 18-bed Rehab unit to assure quality service on a 24-hour basis. Responsibilities Include: Oversee successful daily department operations to achieve quality improvement, fiscal productivity and patient satisfaction goals/objectives Supervise 68 FTE's including performance and departmental accomplishments to meet facility and regulatory requirements Promote teamwork with physicians and all health care providers Act as a liaison with patients and their representatives, physicians and employees to ensure high-quality patient care Manage unit supplies and equipment to maximize productivity and minimize costs For more information contact xxxxxxxxxxx* .
