Responsibilities: Plans, organizes and supervises activities in the EVS and FANS Departments according to hospital policies and local, state and federal regulations.Actively participates in the hospital planning activities, related to the provision of services and the EVS and FANS departments.Responsible for the overall cleanliness and appearance of the hospital and for maintaining a customer-focused environment in the EVS and FANS departments.Responsible for the overall management of the EVS and FANS departments.Purchases equipment and supplies.Responsible for the development and implementation of quality nutritional care and food service.Reviews job descriptions, performance evaluations and skills checklists annually; recommends changes to keep them current with actual practice.Reviews policies and procedures annually and recommends changes to keep them current.
