Standard Qualifications: TriStar Centennial Medical Center - Nashville, TN Registered Nurse (RN) - Parthenon Pavilion - Senior Treatment Program Shift: Full-time nights; rotating weekends (2 per month) Our 657 bed hospital is both nationally and locally recognized, including being named as one of the nation's Top 100 Hospitals in the areas of cardiology, stroke, orthopedics and breast cancer management. As a result of the continued advances in quality care, many improvements in all areas of healthcare have been made and thousands of lives have been significantly impacted. This position will play a key part in continuing our success! The Senior Treatment Program is 32-bed inpatient unit designed to provide intensive inpatient psychiatric treatment to voluntary and involuntary adult patients aged 50 or older who are seriously and persistently mentally ill. The program focuses on the provision of the following essential services: Comprehensive Assessment and Treatment PlanningPsychiatric and Medical CareCrisis Stabilization and Intensive TreatmentADL Care/MaintenancePatient/Family EducationCommunity Resources ReferralDischarge Planning Centennial Medical Center is currently looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) - Senior Treatment Program. Responsibilities: Demonstrates clinical knowledge of psychiatric nursing and maintains highest quality of comprehensive patient care. Displays effective communication skills and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients, families, physicians and staff. Demonstrates ability to perform technical skills and procedures.Documents all patient care.Participates in Performance Improvement activities. 66C 46PX
