Description
Standard Qualifications: The Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse is responsible for professional nursing care and related assistance to patients with a broad range of illnesses. The RN is responsible for daily operations in the Cardiac Cath Lab, admission/assessment of patients, medication administration, direct and indirect patient care, circulating diagnostic and interventional cases, hemodynamic monitoring and scrubbing cases. Other departmental duties as assigned, such as: ordering supplies/maintaining inventory, providing appropriate information towards future needs and actively supports process improvement within the Cardiology Department. Maintains an active marketing profile for the facility and physicians. Maintain professional standards and seeks professional growth. Providing care to patients ranging from adolescence, adult to geriatric, utilizing in accordance with the medical staff within the organizational structure, philosophy, and goals and objectives of the Cardiology Department and Round Rock Medical Center.
