Our 82-bed facility provides world class medical care while promoting wellness, healthy lifestyles and community health education programs and screenings. The Radiology Technician Electrophysiology Lab practices within the scope of a radiologic technologist in accordance with their standards. Provides direct patient care within the Electrophysiology Lab, utilizing a patient centered approach in the observation, implementation, and evaluation of delegated tasks, including developing the plan of care. Collaborates with other disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Supports the organization's vision an mission. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in always maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Provides direct patient care for Electrophysiology procedures and device implantationEnsures that pre-procedural planning and preparation for procedural intervention are individualized to meet the needs of each patient and his/her physicianPrepares the procedure suite/clinical areas, supplies and equipment to ensure safety for patients and personnelAssists with the care of the patient in collaboration with the patient care procedure teamCompletes appropriate documentation for each study performedDemonstrates knowledge of Universal protocolsUses professional judgment and critical thinking when performing proceduresContributes to the professional development of peers/colleagues, and othersCollaborates with the patient, significant others and health care providers in providing and advocating for patient careOperates electrophysiology equipment to safely care for patientsCollaborates with co-workers on utilization of new technologyEnsures proper charges are input for all electrophysiology procedures and supplies
