Standard Qualifications: Crisis Worker - Clinician PRN Position Compensation: Hourly/Non-Exempt (Eligible for Overtime) Position Type: PRN "as needed" for coverage due to high volume timesand to assist with coverage for staff absences and vacation. 12 hour shifts (7 a.m. - 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. Work Schedule(s): Day, night, and overnight shifts The MSTAR Clinician is responsible for using telehealth technology to provide assessment and referral services to patients in Mountainstar Emergency Departments and medical floors in need of level of care recommendations. Offers crisis intervention, community resources, and coordinates and facilitates the development of a Discharge Safety Plan or inpatient placements as indicated for patients struggling with behavioral health concerns. Functions as a member of the Interdisciplinary Patient Care Team , who communicates and receives referrals from other patient care providers to help meet the needs of the patient and family for a safe discharge.
