Standard Qualifications: Memorial has been providing comprehensive healthcare services for residents of south Tampa for more than 40 years. Conveniently located near downtown Tampa, the183-bed acute care hospital is Joint Commission accredited and provides 24-hour emergency care, behavioral health, cardiovascular services, general surgery and imaging and diagnostic services. Specialized services include a new Surgical Center featuring the latest da Vinci robotic systems, a multiphase expansion to include new private patient rooms, an accredited Diagnostic Sleep Lab, Florida Bariatric Center, behavioral health, digital mammography, Health 4 Seniors, inpatient & outpatient rehabilitation services, orthopedics, women's health and wound and hyperbaric medicine. The Manager of Facilities Management is responsible to lead the initiative to support the achievement of regulatory agency standards and requirements in regards to life safety and environment of care and to assist the Engineering and Facilities Director in miscellaneous matters as required. Role Accountabilities Include: Providing technical expertise in all facets of compliance with AHCA, Joint Commission, CMS, and other applicable regulatory compliance agencies.Analyzes data for trends and patterns; develops and implements strategies to improve processes.Participate in Pre-Construction and infection control risk assessment review process and ensures completion of any necessary action plans.Provides direct oversight of maintenance, testing, and inspection of fire alarm and water based suppression systems. Acts as an active member of Environment of Care committee and completes any assigned tasks and/or opportunities.Develops, implements and monitors performance improvement plans to ensure compliance and address performance improvement opportunitiesPerforms duties in accordance with departmental policies and procedures, and recognized professional, quality, patient safety, environmental and infection control standards.
