Our 135 bed facility is able to provide the most comprehensive care to improve the health of our community, and we have been serving the community for over half a century. We are fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and offer a full-range of diagnostic, therapeutic, emergency and surgical services. The OR registered nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing the needs of each patient. He/she is assigned and responsible for designing the operating room nursing care needed to meet the spiritual, emotional and physiological needs of the patient. The registered nurse is responsible to see that the developed plan of care is carried out through leadership and performance during the peri-operative phase of the patients hospital stay. Assumes when assigned or otherwise necessary the responsibilities of operating room management in establishing priorities and delegating responsibilities. The expectation is to care for newborn through geriatric patients.
