Corpus Christi Medical Center is a 631-bed Health Care System offering a comprehensive scope of inpatient and outpatient medical, surgical and specialty services, including: 24-hour Emergency Services Bariatric Services Behavioral Health Services Cancer Diagnostics & Treatment Cardiovascular Testing & Surgery Diagnostic Imaging/MRI Breast Diagnostic Center Inpatient Rehabilitation Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Level I, II, III Maternal and Neonatal Transport Neurosurgical and Neurological Services Orthopedic Services Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation Women's Health Center Corpus Christi Medical Center is currently looking for a Radiology Assistant -Radiology at our campus. Responsibilities: 1. Assists patients with completing patient information and history. 2. Accurately enters patient orders. 3. Accurately files patients jackets and films. 4. Answers the telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner and relay messages and phone calls appropriately. 5. Assist in keeping TAT down. 6. Assists Technologists as needed. 7. Develops films and monitors dark room tests. 8. Expectations Ethics and Compliance: All employees will be held accountable for behaviors displayed relative to the values articulated in the Mission and Values Statement. "Will act with absolute honest, integrity and fairness in the way we conduct our business and the way we live our lives." All employees will be held accountable for attending training regarding the Code of Conduct program at least annually. 9. Files appropriate reports in the patients' jacket. 10. Retrieves X-Ray films as needed. 11. The Imaging Assistant collaborates with physicians, physicists, nursing units, radiation Oncology and other clinical disciplines in making decisions regarding each patient's needs for care. 12. Transports patients to and from their rooms for Imaging testing and procedures.
