Schedule: 1.0 (40 hours per week) Shift: Days, Monday - Friday POSITION SUMMARY : This position under the direction of the Infection Control Director is responsible for the on-going performance of targeted surveillance of both Nosocomial and community acquired infections. Additionally, the Infection Control Coordinator will assist the Infection Control Director with Infection Control related projects, staff education, communicable disease reporting to the appropriate agencies and in any other capacity identified by the director (within the scope of the coordinator's license). This will aid in the provision of quality health care within the hospital.
