Standard Qualifications: G E NERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES - Responsible for Supply Chain OR services at all facilities within the division. Individual is responsible for implementing the standard Supply Chain OR operations model to optimize and enhance operating results across the division. Responsible for developing, evaluating, and implementing clinical initiatives that impact supplies, inventory control, case cart process, equipment, instruments, utilized throughout our facilities. Works closely with OR personnel and surgeons to insure proper instrumentation is available. Reviews operational metrics and helps facilities develop action plans to achieve metric goals and operational efficiencies and reports results routinely to leadership. Accountable for understanding and assuring that the facilities meet the industry quality and safety standards i.e. (TJC, AORN, OSHA etc.) SUPERVISOR - CEO/SCO of Supply Chain Services SUPERVISES - Dotted line supervision of ORMM ( directly reports to SCD) K E Y INTERACTIONS: Hospital CFOs, CNOs, COOs, Division Clinical Resource Director, Facility SCDs, Facility SC ORMMs, SC ORICC, Facility Clinical Resource Managers, Facility OR Directors, , Physicians, Surgeons, and Clinical OR Staff, Supply Chain CorporateOR leadership. DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: I m p lements and oversees the standardized Supply Chain OR operations services program for division/facilities P ro v ides guidance to division/facilities regarding AAMI ( T h e Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation) , FDA, AORN (Association of Operating Room Nurses) and TJC standards through evaluation and development of action plans Develops annual Supply OR operations strategic business plan in conjunction with Supply Chain OR operations to identify areas of opportunity and implement appropriate use/development of protocols and guidelines for division/facilities P r epares the Supply Chain division/facility budget for capital,personnel, revenue, and expenses on an annual basis. Analyzes and monitors facilities expense trends to identify areas of cost saving opportunities for the OR and CS departments working with the facility CRM and SPD manager C oord inates the Supply Chain OR operations of division/facility personnel with an emphasis on education of, product standardization, equipment, and instrument standardization and utilization Ensures that division/facility OR Supply Chain operations department meets their key performance indicators and market goals Maintains effective communication with facility directors/leadership teams on Supply Chain initiatives and division/facility business plan results Assists in the development of "best practice" recommendations for Supply Chain OR operations and procedures through quality control assessments and action plans Assists in the preparation and implementation of division/facility policies and procedures as needed Serve as a liaison and project manager for implementation of new Supply Chain Operations projects within the division Assists in the preparation and implementation of Supply Chain OR operations staff competencies related to Supply Ch ain OR operations and/or department activities I s authorized to transport and deliver legend drugs, non-prescription drugs, contrast media and drug containing devices relative to core competencies of the position P r actice and adhere to the "Code of Conduct" philosophy, Mission, and Value Statement Other duties as assigned
