Standard Qualifications: Bayshore Medical Center - Pasadena, TX An HCA Affiliated Hospital Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab). For nearly 50 years, we have offered patients solace and security through constant, compassionate communication during their medical emergencies, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures. As a 345-bed facility, we employ 1,500 staff and 250 physicians. The Bayshore Medical Center provides state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization labs for diagnostic testing and therapeutic intervention for patients who are at risk of, or who have experienced, cardiac diseases or vascular diseases. Procedures performed in our cath labs include: Peripheral angioplasty and stenting Peripheral and coronary atherectomy Ablations Mechanical thombectomy coronary and peripheral vascular blood clots Percutaneous Coronary Intervention/angioplasty (PCI) Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR) Therapeutic hypothermia Radial artery access High-risk carotid artery stenting Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) endovascular repair Deep venous thrombectomy with stenting of illiac veins Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) filter placements Direct tibial artery access Vascular interventions are also performed in the vascular labs for conditions such as abdominal aortic aneurysms, peripheral artery disease, and venous insufficiency. At the Bayshore Medical Center, procedures include: Echocardiograms Stress echo testing Venous mapping Carotid flow evaluation Transcranial doppler Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) Peripheral vascular ultrasound Bayshore Medical Center is currently looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab). RESPONSIBILITIES: Functions as a member of the treatment team and accepts responsibilities for specifically assigned duties.
