Manages the daily operations of the department: including hiring, training, evaluation, supervision and scheduling of staff members. Provides direct services to patients; facilitates development and implementation of policies and procedures. Will be backup to the Director for 24-hour responsibility of the department at Research Medical Center and Research Belton Hospital. Supports the Inter-Qual Support Line for the Division 7 days per week for Inter-Qual questions related to Medicare review processes.
