SPECIFIC ELEMENTS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS* Obtain quality ultrasound images of patients Manage all ultrasound equipment and recognize significant diagnostic information Demonstrates ability to perform all necessary computer operations Render patient care in a professional and courteous manner Prepare ultrasound machine and perform quality control tests Assist radiology nurse or radiologist in administering medications, performing biopsies and all types care to patient Reviews each exam for technical accuracy and identifies anatomical orientation on all images Demonstrates willingness to assist in additional duties Completes and maintains educational requirements Participates in various departmental process improvement activities
