Schedule: 1.0 (80 hours weekly), Shift: Days weekends rotate. The primary focus of this role is to provide treatments and services for patients which do not require state licensure. Under the direction of the licensed staff, as a member of the patient care team, this job will provide for the hygiene and personal care, nutritional support, vital signs, weight, intake and output, specimen collection, ambulation/physical activities, postmortem care, basic emergency procedures, oxygen setup, hemocult testing, fluid collection from measurement drainage systems. Promotes a cooperative working relationship with care team members, physicians, other disciplines and the public by facilitating and enhancing communication, displaying honesty and respect, displaying sensitivity to social, cultural and age differences, and expressing and accepting feedback in a professional manner. Supports the mission, philosophy and goals of Good Samaritan Hospital.
