Job Title: Social Worker LCSW PRN Unit: Adult and Geriatric Behavioral Health Unit Position Type: PRN "As Needed" PRN Work Schedule Information: Weekend DAY coverage needed. 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. SA or SU Must be able to work at least 1 PRN shift every 2 weeks. *Responsible for the day-to-day direction of social service patient care. This includes quality care of the patient from admission to discharge. *Establishes and maintains effective cooperative working relationships with social service staff, nursing staff, medical staff, and other departments. *The Behavioral Health Social Worker considers ages of patients when fulfilling patient care responsibilities; demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient's needs; possesses knowledge of growth and development; and has an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups. *Works with the Director and Medical Director to oversee and compile results of performance improvement studies.
