Standard Qualifications: SPECIFIC ELEMENTS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS* *1. Obtains quality radiographs of patients while under the direct supervision of an ARRT registered technologist. This is to be done in an acceptable timeframe. *2. Complies with radiation safety guidelines. Operates radiographic equipment safely. *3. Demonstrates ability to perform all necessary computer operation, such as entering orders into Meditech and obtaining and verify images in PACS. *4. Render patient care in a professional and courteous manner. *5. Prepare examination rooms for radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. * 6. Performs clerical duties such as answering phone, distributing reports, etc. as required. * 7. Reviews each exam for technical accuracy and identifies anatomical orientation on all images. * 8. Demonstrates willingness to assist in additional duties, such as but limited to, patient transportation. * 9. Completes and maintains educational requirements.
