Nurse Practitioner NP / Primary Care / Outpatient We are seeking a qualified Primary Care Nurse Practitioner NP for an immediate opening. Our client offers the following benefits: $85,000 to $110,000 depending on experience (Total compensation include production bonus) 1500 CME reimbursement for 5 days 85% health benefit paid by employer, vision, dental , life ins offered Relocation available Sign on available 15 days PTO Paid holidays Nurse Practitioner NP / Primary Care / Outpatient Job Responsibilities As a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner NP you will be responsible for planning and implementation of the primary care service delivery to patients per health care plan and written protocols. Provide primary, secondary and tertiary care, including counseling and referral within multidisciplinary team. Additional responsibilities for the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner NP include: 40 hour work week flexible hours between Monday - Friday 8am - 8pm Saturday 9am-1pm 3 clinics Performs medical examinations using standard medical procedures as part of the clinical care team Observes, assesses and records symptoms, reactions and progress in patient charts Demonstrates knowledge of primary care principles and practice protocols Demonstrates the ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations and establish a leadership role in an emergency Demonstrates knowledge of current and emerging trends in technologies, techniques, issues and approaches in area of expertise Demonstrates the ability to maintain quality, safety and/or infection control standards Demonstrates a working knowledge of medications, with their indications, contraindications, dosing, side effects and correct administration Supervises and trains employees, which includes organizing, prioritizing and scheduling work assignments Educates patients and/or families as to the nature of disease, provides instruction on proper care, self-management and treatment, and works with patient to develop an individualized care plan Follows practice policy in responding to patient communications Communicates medical information to professional practitioners and/or the general public Makes administrative and procedural decisions Maintains current CPR and other certification and is aware of related accreditation and certification requirements Maintains strict confidentiality, and treats staff, physicians, visitors and patients with dignity and respect Performs other related work as required Job Requirements We are looking for dedicated and professional Primary Care Nurse Practitioner NP who are committed to providing exceptional patient care and service. It is also important that you are highly organized and that you demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Specific qualifications for the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner NP role include: Graduation from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure One (1) year of medical experience in a physician's office or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred Fluent in Spanish and English.
