Nurse Practitioner NP / Psychiatric Mental Health PMHNP / Outpatient We are seeking a qualified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner PMHNP for an immediate opening. Our client is the only agency in the state whose sole focus is persons with serious mental illness and children with serious emotional disorders who also struggle to survive at or below the poverty level. Our client offers the following benefits: $85,000 to $120,000 depending on experience 403b retirement plan PTO 25 days vacation and sick time 7 Holidays paid Health Dental Vision Life insurance Long term and Short term disability Health Savings Account Malpractice Paid Relocation assistance Nurse Practitioner NP / Psychiatric Mental Health PMHNP / Outpatient Job Responsibilities As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner PMHNP you will be responsible for planning and implementation of the primary care service delivery to patients per health care plan and written protocols. Provide primary, secondary and tertiary care, including counseling and referral within multidisciplinary team. Additional responsibilities for the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner PMHNP include: Mon-Fri 8:00 am-4:30 pm No nights No weekends Pharmacological treatment for patients including prescribing medications using InfoScriber, as well as providing follow-up. Facilitate admitting patients to the hospital or respite and consulting when needed. Coordinate medical aspects of treatment with Nurse, Care Management Supervisor and Care Managers. Participate and provide supervision of the multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and provide consultation by phone when needed. Maintain active role in treatment team or with UrgiCare staff. Seek supervision from supervising MD as appropriate. Consult with outside Physicians regarding care managed consumers as necessary. Follow protocols as established by the Chief Medical Officer and Clinic Practice Director.
