Nurse Practitioner NP / Behavioral Health / Outpatient We are seeking a qualified Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner NP for an immediate opening. Our Client is a private for Profit Limited Liability Company devoted to excellence in Behavioral Health Services for the Eastern Shore of Maryland and beyond. Our client offers the following benefits: $85,000 - $100,000 Salary depending on experience Health Insurance 24 Days PTO 10K Life Insurance 401K Verizon Wireless Discount Allstate discount Nurse Practitioner NP / Behavioral Health / Outpatient Job Responsibilities The designated provider participates in the treatment process by providing diagnostic evaluations, medication management, and staff consultations for all patients regardless of the ability to pay, including: Medicaid, Medicare, indigent, and uninsured patients. Additional responsibilities for the Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner NP include: Monday - Friday (9am - 5pm) Maintains appropriate standards for treatment, including therapeutic modalities and prescribing practices. Provides direct outpatient services to clients including psychiatric evaluations, medication management and staff consultation as indicated. Meets Agency productivity requirements. Performs and documents a complete Psychiatric Evaluation Understands and is able to conduct a range of individual, group and family therapies using standard, accepted therapeutic models. Demonstrates knowledge of community systems of care and supports to assist in patient care referrals and additional psychosocial support. Specific qualifications for the Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner NP role include: PMHNP required DEA prescriber certification Must have and maintain a current Controlled Substances Registration Certificate from the US Drug Enforcement Administration. Must have and maintain a current Maryland State License and a Maryland State Controlled Substance Registration.
