Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCSW / Outpatient We are seeking a qualified Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCSW for an immediate opening. Our Client is located in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia. Our client offers the following benefits: $50,000 - $57,000 Salary depending on experience Benefit Credit Package Health Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance equal to one year's salary. Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Annual Leave Two to four weeks 96 Hours of Sick Leave Holidays SIMPLE IRA Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCSW / Outpatient Job Responsibilities Our Client seeks a full-time licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) to support and enhance the already existing services of the Behavioral Health Department. We seek an individual who is willing to see patients of all ages but primarily focusing on children and youth and substance users. We are also looking for someone that is will provide education and prevention services as part of our school based health program and at our main site to provide education and prevention services to the community to improve outcomes and teach awareness. Additional responsibilities for the Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCSW include: Provide mental health screenings and initial assessments to medically-referred clients and other clients Provide short-term, structured, evidence-based psychotherapy as part of an appropriate plan Coordinate and collaborate with the primary care providers to improve health outcomes Work closely with Psychiatrist and medical providers on challenging cases Facilitate referrals to other services as needed Provide clinical therapeutic services to patients, including individual and group therapy and coordination of treatment for participants with co-occurring disorders Provide crisis intervention during working hours such as suicide assessment, hospitalization, etc. Work to meet patient needs effectively and resolve individual barriers through follow-up, advocacy and collaboration with HMC staff and other community service providers Maintain accurate and timely documentation (eClinical Works) Identify, develop, market, and coordinate community education and prevention services Other duties as assigned to support the mission Job Requirements We are looking for dedicated and professional Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCSW who is committed to providing exceptional patient care and service. It is also important that you are highly organized and that you demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
