Community Rehabilitation Hospitalis rapidly expanding, and we are looking to hire Patient Support Technician (PST) - Full-time. Community Rehabilitation Hospital is an inpatient facility that offers superior access and the latest equipment to improve the lives of individuals with a broad range of diagnoses - from brain and spinal cord injury to stroke and amputation. Community Rehabilitation Hospital has an advanced accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) in Adult Inpatient Care and for their Inpatient Brain Injury Specialty Program and Stroke Specialty Program. Also, we are in the top 9% of all rehab hospitals in the country for length of stay efficiency. Summary: Works under the direction of an RN. Performs direct patient care, such as bathing, assisting with elimination, bed making, and vital signs. Transports patients and patient related materials in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Greets and orients patient to the patient care area. Performs meal service and feeding assistance functions. Provides additional select care to patient. Collaborates with other team members to perform other services as directed. Qualifications: EXPERIENCE: Prior experience in a hospital setting is preferred. EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED equivalent Current Basic Life Support/CPR Card
