This newly constructed hospital is a partnership between Dignity and Kindred Healthcare. The Director of Continuous Quality and Performance Improvement is actively involved, at the executive level, in the leadership of the organization. The Director of Continuous Quality and Performance Improvement (DCQPI) functions under the direction and supervision of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The DCQPI in collaboration with the leadership team, develops, implements, interprets and assures compliance with policies and procedures including compliance with federal and state regulations and accreditation standards. #MON-HRS #LI-HRS Qualifications: Graduate of accredited registered nurse program with current licensure in the state. Masters degree preferred. BSN or BS/BA required, CRRN preferred. Certification preferred by NAHCQ (National Association of Health Care Quality). Two years of experience in an acute hospital or rehabilitation setting required. Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and evaluate PI activities. Working knowledge of staff development, compliance and the educational process, quality improvement, and safety/risk management standards. Minimum of five years of nursing and/or case management supervisory experience required. Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, evaluate and direct activities of clinical personnel; effective oral and written communication skills, in English with additional languages preferred; proficiency in basic computer skills required.
