Job Description
Responsible for assisting the healthcare team with the care and management of patients during their visit. Perform routine administrative and clinical tasks to maintain and support the office and to assure efficient patient flow through the office. Maintain patient flow by escorting patients from the waiting area to the examination room. Prepare patients for their visit, examination, procedure, and/or treatment in accordance with established procedures. As instructed, document patient information in the electronic medical record. Assist in the collection, labeling and processing of specimens.
Qualifications:
1-2 years experience as Trained Medication Assistant required.Medical Assistant Certificate with TMA Certification required.Travel assignment working experience preferred.Required Blood Bank and General Med Assisting experienceBLS/CPR, AHA required.Benefits
