Job Description
Supervises and performs direct patient careMonitor vital signs, initiation and termination of dialysis, documentation, physical assessment of patients and patient careNote signs of trauma, patients physical and mental conditionAnalyzes patient assessments, laboratory data and consult with physiciansReview dialysis ordersProvide Dialysis therapy including but not limited to formulating a dialysis plan per physician ordersCommunicate all emergencies to supervisor, medical and operations directorInstruct patients on pre and post dialysis careCollaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient careQualifications and Job Info
2 years of previous Dialysis experience preferredA.D.N from accredited school of nursing requiredICU, CCU, ER, Medsurg experience preferredCNN or CDN preferredCompleted training program approved by the medical director and governing body as required by CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system.Active BLSActive state licenseDemonstrate the highest level of professionalism when interacting with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff members.Benefits
