Position: RN-HEDIS Location: Chicago, IL Duration: Full-time Opportunity!Job InfoObtain, analyze, and evaluate medical record documentation submitted for HEDIS measures (annual National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) quality profile that measures quality of health care provided to members) Conduct provider site visits in order to abstract medical record documentation for Health Plan Employer Data Information Set (HEDIS) reporting to NCQA, federal, state and some employer contract groups Assist in identifying, planning, and implementing activities to enhance and improve provider medical record and HEDIS documentationQualificationsRegistered Nurse (RN) with unrestricted license in state3 years clinical experience.2 years experience in utilization review, quality assurance, and/or medical record and site review auditsKnowledge of medical terminology standard medical practices, formal quality improvement process, and federal, state, accreditation regulations and standardsVerbal and written communications skills including interpersonal skills for meeting with physicians and office staff and representing the company using diplomatic/professional demeanorPC proficiency to include Word and ExcelWilling to travel, including overnight stays.
