Position: Director of Credentialing Location: Sunrise, FL Shift: Full TimeJob InfoEnsure the appropriate processes are in place to monitor and maintain systematic, timely credentialing and re-credentialing of network healthcare professionals Develop and implement standards to ensure the accuracy of credentialing data in the credentialing system as well the credentialing data required by healthcare entities that have delegated credentialing to the network.Coordinate the analysis of data relevant to the credentialing processTrain Credentialing Specialists, and other department staff that interact with the credentialing function and acting as a resource for staff and network.Monitor and evaluate the day-to-day activities of the Credentialing Specialists. Respond to non-routine and difficult credentialing issues when the Credentialing Specialists require assistanceRequirementsAbility to plan, assign, supervise and evaluate the work of others, and to monitor goals, objectives, deadlines and prioritiesThorough knowledge of/proficiency with Windows based PC system and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint is required. Adobe Acrobat Professional, project management software, database and reporting programs is preferred.Knowledge of health care industry, program, and managed care.Knowledge/skill in standard office business practices, and operating general office equipment.Knowledge of state, federal, and credentialing accreditation requirements Ability to manage multiple projects effectively while facilitating group successAbility to analyze, interpret and synthesize a wide range of information, including legal and contract language, policies, standards and guidelines.
