Job Description
Performs and participates in decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging, scanning, sterilization, storage and distribution of reusable surgical instrumentation and equipment.Deliver sterile supplies and retrieve contaminated suppliesManual cleaning of instruments and equipment to remove contaminatesOperation and maintenance of decontamination equipmentMeticulous examination of instruments and equipment to ensure they are cleanMonitor and operate sterilization equipment such as an autoclaveTest and report any issues or problems with sterilizing equipmentQualifications and Job Info
1-2 years of recent experienceGraduate of accredited, competency based program in sterile processing technologyBLSActive Colorado state licenseDemonstrate the highest level of professionalism when interacting with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff members.Benefits
