JOB SUMMARY: Is responsible for overseeing nursing care delivered within an assigned nursing unit/ area in support of medical care. Accomplishes this by managing the following role categories which include tasks & duties as described below: patient care, customer service, human resources including management and development, operational, administrative, quality improvement and professional development.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE:Licensed and currently registered in New York State as a Registered Professional Nurse in good standingBSN preferred or Bachelors degree in related field, AAS or Diploma to be evaluated with experienceMinimum of 3 years experience as an RN. Previous nursing leadership/management experience preferredBLSREPORTS TO: Director of Nursing
