Surgical Physician Assistant:
We are looking to add a Physician Assistant to our growing Cardiothoracic Surgery team! Currently with two CT Surgeons (a third surgeon is set to join in January 2018) and an experienced CT PA, the ideal candidate will have general surgery experience. Responsibilities include endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH), surgical first-assisting, perioperative patient care, hospital consults, and post-hospital clinic. Training is available. Weeknight on-call surgical availability only (maximum of 2 evenings per week) and 1:3 weekends - very few late nights or busy weekends. No primary on-call responsibility.
Qualified candidates should have current NCCPA certification and eligibility for PA licensure in the state of Iowa. Generous, competitive compensation package.
