SURGICAL PA or NP FIRST ASSIST POSITION IN FULTON COUNTY, NY
-We are currently looking for a full time Surgical PA or NP First Assist for our Hospital. -We are a small hospital located in Gloversville, NY. This is an hour away from Albany, NY and 45 minutes to Saratoga.
-This position has been created due to volume and the growth of our Surgery sector. We are a 56 bed hospital in Upstate NY at the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. About 80% of our patient volume comes from outpatient services and a strong network of hospital run practices. The current surgical specialties are General Surgery, Orthopedics, Ob/Gyn, Urology, Ophthalmology, Oral Surgery, ENT and Podiatry. We just opened our Dialysis Center 2 months ago. We have 5 ORs and 3 scope rooms. We also operate a free standing Endoscopy Center. The OR day begins at 8am. We reserve 7am for C- sections. You would work a 4-5 day week. The choice of which would impact the salary offering. In addition to your OR assignments, you would also provide back up for our Pre-Anesthesia NP and wrap up work on Friday which is her day off.
-We have a 7 member Anesthesia team, which, in my opinion is one of the best. Our equipment is top grade. Your would-be colleagues, our Surgeons, are welcoming and cooperative with well honed skills.
-Our salaries are very competitive, starting at the Median for the Specialty in our Geographic region. We provide 5 weeks PTO, 7 major holidays (although you may have to take call on them), approximately 90% Individual Health Insurance premium, CME funds, dues and licenses, Professional society dues, and of course, Malpractice
