Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:

Opening for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/ Clinical nurse specialist for community mental health center - Inpatient and Outpatient responsibilities
General duties:
Inpatient - 2/3 time responsible for approximately 4 inpatients with interdisciplinary team.
Inpatient psychiatric examinations/evaluation for diagnosis, treatment planning, and treatment (psychopharmacological and psychotherapy); share leadership of interdisciplinary team; written orders; coordinate with medical consultant.
Outpatient - 1/3 time outpatient clinic and crisis service.
Outpatient clinical evaluation/ management of outpatients, other services as needed; occasional involvement in consultation to crisis (emergency) services. Provide patient education and assist in wellness initiatives.
No on call -- This position offers excellent compensation with benefits.
