Seeking an Occupational Health Clinical Operations Manager for a fantastic facility in Maryland!
Description: Responsible for the daily operations of the Occupational Health Department in collaboration with other regional Services and Risk Management department.Coordinates the work activities and services provided by the clinical and administrative staff to assure efficient, effective and safe patient care in the Occupational Health Department.Performs clinical duties as staff Nurse Practitioner assuming clinical management of assigned patients. Qualifications
EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Nursing. ANA accredited Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Program accredited by the Commission of Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program. Masters degree in Public Health or Nursing preferred.EXPERIENCE: 5 years of progressively more responsible job related experience with a minimum of 4 years as a RN, NP or PA and 2 years in a senior, lead or supervisory capacity.LICENSE/CERT/REG: Registration with State Board Examiners of Nurses or NCCPA and DC MD BPQA. Basic Life Support certification. Certification in Occupational Health nursing.SKILLS: Good physical assessment skills, triage, and first aid skills. Understanding of workers compensation and OSHA regulations. Good patient education skills. Strong communication skills and intermediate computer skills. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Accurately documents all data into the associate electronic medical record (OHM). Accesses documents in other appropriate databases, etc.
