Full-time Cardiovascular Surgical NP/PA needed at a TOP hospital in Washington! (Reference Code: KAM)
Seeking an exceptional Cardiovascular Surgical PA to work with our collaborative team of professionals involved in the care of cardiac and thoracic surgical patients. First assisting, conduit removal with endoscopic technique and pre and post-operative care of patients are important aspects of this position. We provide a balance between work and time off to maintain a healthy lifestyle and find joy and fulfillment while at work. This position is primarily surgical and inpatient. The schedule will rotate over a three week period. One week will be spent in the OR to cover scheduled cases as well as emergent cases as needed. One week will be spent in the hospital and clinic to help care for post operative patients as well as evaluate patients pre op as needed. The third week will be scheduled off. The off week does not include vacation time. * Cardiac surgical first assist experience preferred. * Support physicians' on-call responsibilities and hospital rounds. * Assist surgeon in OR as requested, participating in intraoperative and in-hospital care of patients. * Appropriate certification. * Ability to obtain an active license in the state of WA.
