Looking for an Step Down Nurse in Fairfield county Connecticut.
The facility is in southern Connecticut, about an hour out of New York City (by public transport or car) and the town is on the beautiful Long Island Sound. There is plenty to do in all of the seasons with quaint neighboring towns, the Connecticut wine trail, boating opportunities all summer long and easy access to both New York and Boston.

This RN will be required to provide supervision of non-RN personnel and act as a resource for ancillary staff. Some additional responsibilities can include supervising unit activities when assigned to charge or clinical coordinator role and acting as preceptor to new staff and/or students.
Qualifications:BSN strongly preferredBLS certification requiredAbility to work the night shiftMaintain minimum of 6 contact hours annuallyMinimum of one year recent acute nursing experience; critical care highly preferred
