Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment Current RN licensure in VirginiaAHA BLS CertificationSpecialty Nursing Certification in either Nurse Navigation or Oncology within one year of hire in positionLevel and type of experience REQUIREDMinimum of three (3) years of relevant clinical experience demonstrating:Patient education, nursing, planning, case management or similar experiencePrevious experience in OncologyLevel and type of experience PREFERREDNurse Navigation or leadership experienceExperience working in a NCI Comprehensive ProgramExperience within an academic, teaching hospitalEducation Required: Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing
Education Preferred: Master' Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing
