Description
This position is primarily chemistry although we are considering cross training the new hire in hematology. Generally
work Saturday and Sunday and one additional day during the week. Training would be full time hours and would
last a few weeks. If there is a need (someone on vacation or out sick) and she wants to work extra that is a possibility, certainly
if we cross train her that would increase her value to us. One of the schedules I am considering is 12 hours Saturday/Sunday,
7 a.m.-7 p.m. plus one day during the week, roughly 64 hours. The person that just transferred out of this position worked
4 hrs. Sat. and Sun. morning and a day during the week, again with our new automation we are a little unsure of our schedule
needs. We would also ask her to take a turn working a major holiday.
The position is a 0.4 FTE meaning 4 days or 32 hours a pay period with no benefits, those hours are guaranteed. Would
receive the $3/hr. shift diff for weekends.
