NEW Assistant Blood Bank Manager or Transfusion Services Assistant Manager opening at one of upstate New York's largest state-licensed laboratories. This laboratory is an independent, for-profit, , clinical and anatomic pathology reference laboratory serving area hospitals, physician office and community-based clinics. This laboratory is equipped with the latest medical and information system technology and performs tests in chemistry, clinical studies, coagulation/hemostasis, cytology, device trials, hematology, histology, molecular diagnostics, microbiology, toxicology and transfusion services. This is a permanent and full time position. This facility is seeking an Assistant Manager of Transfusion Services to serve as a member of the leadership team that oversees coordinated operations among the three Rapid Response Laboratories. For consideration, this full-time position requires a baccalaureate degree and a minimum of six years of relevant transfusion services experience. The Assistant Manager must qualify as a medical technologist under NYS Department of Health Regulation Part 58.15 and have a valid New York State license issued by the New York State Department of Education. Compensation package includes a highly competitive hourly rate, full benefits and either relocation assistance or a sign on bonus!
