Description
Looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join largest independent orthopaedic specialty practice in the region.
This position is responsible for assisting in medical and surgical care of orthopedic patients in an office setting and the operating room. Time will be split between the operating room and clinic seeing patients with various orthopedic conditions.
A typical day may contain any of these activities:Assisting in surgerySeeing patients in clinic or emergency roomDeveloping and implements treatments plansAdministering joint injections; ordering diagnostic testsSuturing lacerations as needed; reducing fractures, applies casts, braces and splintsQualifications:Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner programOrthopaedic experience or clinical rotation in Orthopaedics preferredOperating Room experience preferredNP or PA license in Indiana
