NEW Laboratory Director opening at one of the most reputable reference laboratories in the United States! This laboratory is known to follow rigorous quality standards and process controls to meet state and local regulatory requirements. They are looking to hire a ASCP Certified Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS)/ Medical Technologist (MT) OR SBB (Specialist in Blood Bank) to oversee multiple references laboratories. Responsibilities include: supervising staff performing basic and advanced test procedures and interpreting complex test results to determine donor/recipient compatibility. You would provide complex reference and consultation services to hospitals and assure compliance with safety policies and procedures in the work area. In addition to the above certifications, applicants must have at least 7 years of complex blood banking experience in either a hospital or a reference laboratory environment. Management or Supervisory experience strongly preferred. Compensation package includes a highly competitive hourly rate, fantastic benefits and either relocation assistance or a sign on bonus!
