JOB SUMMARY: Provide leadership, administrative responsibility and oversight of ER and Acute. Accountable for management responsibilities that include staffing, leading, morale, customer satisfaction, quality, organizing and role modeling for nursing services. Performs the functions of a professional leader in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating services provided. Perform RN duties in ER as needed. Must live within 20 minute response time to the hospital.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: A BS in Nursing from an accredited nursing program. Master's degree in Business or Nursing Administration preferred.
Experience: Five years of progressively responsible relevant management experience or a comparable combination of education and experience is required. Minimum of two years ER experience
License or Certification: Current California RN license; current ACLS (American Heart Association) and BLS. CEN certification.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Ability to communicate clearly in both oral and written forms using the English language. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from residents, patients, physicians, peers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
