This facility is currently seeking a Full-Time Medical Technologist to join their team!
Responsibilities:
Performs, evaluates, records and reports clinical laboratory tests used in the diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of patients on a variety of a body fluids and biologic specimens. Recognizes problems and/or potential for problems within the assigned section regarding instruments, computers, and inventories. Displays sound, supportive and independent judgement to resolve issues in the absence of a supervisor.
Qualifications:
Medical Lab Technician MLT
Minimum Education: A.A.S. degree in Medical Technology
Minimum Experience: Experience preferred by new graduates of approved Medical Laboratory Technology Programs will be considered
Required Certification/Registration: ASCP preferred. NYS MLT license or eligible required. If not licensed, NYS permit required within two months of hire, NYS MLT license required within one year of permit issuance
Medical Technologist
Minimum Education: B.S. Degree in medical technology or related science
Minimum Experience: Three to six months training to obtain normal productivity
Required Certification/Registration: NYS MT licensure required. ASCP Preferred
