Description
Per diem or Part time Ultrasound Technologist needed at a top hospital serving the Fairfield County region! (Reference Code: KAM) Job Summary: Provides a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures (invasive and non-invasive) ranging from OB/GYN, abdomen, breast and small body parts to intra-cavity and color Doppler and a variety of biopsies. Performs a wide variety of procedures insuring compliance with organizational protocols and standards Qualifications: * Satisfactory completion of a formal ultrasound training program or equivalent training program as specified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required. * Certification by Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS) preferred. (New graduates and/or non ARDMS certified candidates will be expected to obtain certification after completion of one year as an Ultrasound Tech). * Knowledge or understanding of RIS and PACS computer systems preferred.
